Custom Image Submission Guidelines
At Trayz N’ Beyond, we specialize in handcrafted, made-to-order epoxy resin art — from custom whiskey flight trays and coaster sets to ambient LED lamp bases and trinket dishes. Every piece is poured by hand in Knoxville, TN, and no two are ever exactly alike. When you add a custom image to your order, you’re making it truly one of a kind.
Please read these guidelines carefully before uploading your image to ensure the best possible result and a smooth production experience.
Before You Upload — Quick Checklist
- ✓ Your image is high resolution (300 DPI or higher)
- ✓ You own the rights to the image or have a valid license
- ✓ The image does not contain trademarked logos, characters, or brand marks
- ✓ The image does not contain explicit, lewd, or offensive content
- ✓ The file is in PNG, JPG, JPEG, PDF, or SVG format and under 25MB
How to Submit Your Custom Image
- Select your product and choose your mica color and glitter color
- Upload your image directly on the product page using the image upload field
- Use the Special Instructions field to include any additional requests, design notes, color preferences, or details you’d like us to know
- Complete your order — our team will review your submission and begin production within 1–2 business days
Accepted File Types & Technical Requirements
- Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, PDF, SVG
- Minimum resolution: 300 DPI for best clarity in resin
- Transparent backgrounds (PNG) are preferred for logos and graphic art
- Maximum file size: 25MB per file
- High-contrast, bold designs reproduce most clearly in epoxy resin
Design Tips for the Best Resin Results
Epoxy resin is a unique medium — understanding how it interacts with imagery will help you get the most out of your custom piece.
- Bold over fine: Simple, high-contrast designs with strong lines reproduce most clearly. Very fine details or small text may lose definition during the curing process.
- Color shift is normal: Colors may appear slightly richer or deeper once embedded in resin. This is a natural characteristic of handmade epoxy art and part of what makes each piece unique.
- Reference your palette: If you have a specific color scheme in mind, include hex codes or a reference image in the Special Instructions field.
- Placement matters: Let us know in Special Instructions if you have a preference for where your image is positioned on the piece.
- When in doubt, ask: If you’re unsure whether your image will work well in resin, email us before ordering and we’ll give you honest feedback.
What We Accept
- ✓ Original artwork and illustrations created by you
- ✓ Personal photographs you own the rights to
- ✓ Licensed or royalty-free graphics (please note your license in Special Instructions)
- ✓ Custom logos for personal, non-commercial use
- ✓ Memorial and tribute imagery — photos of loved ones, pets, or meaningful moments
- ✓ Handwritten text, signatures, or custom lettering
Image & Content Restrictions
To protect our customers, our brand, and the integrity of our craft, the following content will be rejected without exception:
- ✗ Trademarked or copyrighted images — including brand logos, sports team marks, entertainment characters, or any imagery owned by a third party without written proof of authorization
- ✗ Lewd, explicit, or sexually suggestive content — any imagery of a sexual nature will be automatically rejected and the order will not be processed
- ✗ Hate speech, discriminatory symbols, or violent imagery
- ✗ Images of minors in any inappropriate context
- ✗ Content that violates any applicable local, state, or federal law
If your image is rejected, you will be notified by email and given the opportunity to submit a replacement. If no acceptable image is received within 5 business days, your order will be fulfilled without the custom element or refunded at our discretion.
Production Timeline & Custom Orders
All Trayz N’ Beyond pieces are made to order. Standard production time is 3–5 business days from the time your image is approved. Orders with complex custom imagery or special requests may require additional time — we will notify you if this applies to your order.
You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.
Revision Policy
Because every piece is handcrafted to order using your submitted image, we are unable to offer revisions once production has begun. We strongly encourage you to review your image carefully before uploading and to use the Special Instructions field to communicate any specific placement, sizing, or design preferences.
If your finished piece arrives damaged or significantly different from what was agreed upon, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will work to make it right.
Legal Disclaimer
By uploading an image or design to Trayz N’ Beyond, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the original creator of the submitted content, or you have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and reproduce the image for commercial purposes.
- The submitted content does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, trade dress, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property right of any third party.
- The submitted content does not contain any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
- You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trayz N’ Beyond, its owner, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your submission of content that violates these guidelines or any applicable law.
Trayz N’ Beyond reserves the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any order at its sole discretion if submitted content is deemed inappropriate, infringing, or in violation of these guidelines. Uploading an image does not guarantee its use in your final product.
These guidelines are subject to change without notice. By placing a custom order and uploading an image, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a photo from Google or Pinterest?
No. Images found on Google, Pinterest, or other websites are almost always protected by copyright and may not be used without explicit written permission from the rights holder. Using such images without authorization is a violation of copyright law and our submission policy.
Can I use a sports team logo or celebrity image?
No. Sports team logos, celebrity likenesses, and entertainment brand imagery are trademarked and/or protected by right of publicity laws. These will be rejected regardless of intent.
What if my image is low resolution?
Low-resolution images may result in a blurry or pixelated appearance in the finished piece. We will notify you if your image does not meet our minimum resolution requirements and give you the opportunity to submit a higher-quality file.
Can I submit more than one image?
Yes. If your design includes multiple elements, upload your primary image and describe the layout in the Special Instructions field. You may also email additional files to erickowens@trayznbeyond.com with your order number in the subject line.
Will my image look exactly the same in resin?
Resin is a living, handmade medium. While we do our best to faithfully reproduce your image, slight color shifts and variations are inherent to the epoxy curing process. These characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.
