Why does handmade cost more than store-bought?
Handmade pieces require real time, premium materials, and skilled labor — none of which can be replicated at factory scale. When you buy from Trayz N' Beyond, you're paying for quality, uniqueness, and the care that goes into every single piece.
Are handmade epoxy pieces less durable than manufactured ones?
Not at all. Properly cured epoxy resin is highly durable, scratch-resistant, and water-resistant. In many cases, our pieces outlast mass-produced alternatives because we don't cut corners on materials or cure time.
Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?
Because each piece is poured by hand, there will be natural variations in color flow and shimmer. This is a feature, not a flaw — it's what makes your piece truly one of a kind.
Can I get the same piece as a friend ordered?
We can absolutely work from the same color palette or design inspiration, but because every pour is unique, an exact replica isn't possible. That said, we'll get beautifully close — contact us to discuss.
How long does it take to make a handmade piece?
